Nike Le Village Rare OG 70s Leather Vintage Shoes Men's Size 8.5

These rare 1970s Nike Le Village shoes are a Cortez style leather shoe that has a unique design and was positioned as a casual shoe that did not fit into the traditional categories of leather shoes or athletic shoes. We picked up this pair while researching the strange Kinney NBA upside down swoosh knockoffs of the Le Village. Check out this vintage advertisement that describes them as:

“Le Village”: “A beautiful stylish casual shoe with an athletic look. Soft, antique brown leather uppers. Cushier mid soles. As comfortable as they are long wearing.”

These vintage Nike shoes were featured in the 'Nike Chronicle Deluxe Lightning Vol.150' (see last photo) and they were also worn on TV series 'Starsky and Hutch' from the 1970s. Made in the USA.
